What our staff say about us
We asked staff across the Trust to tell us why they like working within Empower Trust and this is some of the feedback we received in our annual Trust Staff Wellbeing Survey:
‘I enjoy working for the Trust and my school. Collaborative working with other SBM’s within the Trust schools is very helpful in my role. The finance team are extremely helpful, positive, and supportive to the administrative team and HT which is working extremely well. Working in a school is a very demanding and unique role with a lot of variety.’
‘I like working within the Trust because of my colleagues, the children, Trust support, ethos and practice. I have the opportunity to make a positive difference and to access CPD opportunities.’
‘This school has staff members who care and it is a privilege to work here alongside them. It can be frustrating at times but, like any school, it is the nature of the beast – with the role that school plays changing so significantly within recent years. However, I believe that this school and Trust will be able to meet with the challenges schools face and continue to make a positive difference to the lives of children (and families) within their local communities’.
‘We have very strong teams of colleagues who are proactive in sharing best practice. I enjoy having the opportunity of developing new facilities which support the local community. It is very reassuring knowing that there is a colleague at the end of the phone who can support you with an issue that you may be concerned about. I like the solution focussed approach’.
‘The Trust is very well organised and the SLT are approachable. The team is strong and I feel like if I had a problem I could go to SLT/a colleague so that they could help me resolve it’.
‘Supportive team, cross-school links to form teams of people working on aspects of the curriculum’
